The RARE Corporate Alliance is a collaboration of RARE disease stakeholders committed to helping advance efforts benefitting the RARE disease community and its constituents.
The goal of the RARE Corporate Alliance is to help facilitate collaboration and an information exchange among patients, patient advocacy organizations, health-related organizations, industry, payers, policy makers, and regulatory agencies. Only with all stakeholders at the table with an open cooperative “we-can” spirit, will we affectively address issues facing all of the RARE disease community stakeholders for the ultimate benefit of the patients and their families.
The RARE Corporate Alliance will formally meet twice a year, and more often as the Alliance determines.
The inaugural meeting is tentatively set for March 2012. Those committed to Alliance membership at that time will elect the leadership and determine the 2012 priorities.
Membership is open to pharma, biotech, related/support industry, payers, and academia. Associate membership is available for policy makers and regulatory agencies.
